With the "Provide Location Picklist" setting selected, the eMILER.com database will return a warning message and a pick list of locations for each "Stop" field that has multiple ZIP codes assigned to it when you run a route.
Many locations, especially large cities, have multiple ZIP codes
assigned to them. Some locations have multiple name variations in the
eMILER.com database, since the first two letters of the location
match that of other locations in the same state.
If "Provide Location Picklist" is selected when running a
route, eMILER.com will search its location database and return a pick
list for each stop containing all possible ZIP codes assigned to that
location, with the most central ZIP code listed first. Highlight the
city or ZIP code that you wish to select in order to run the route.
For example, Chicago, IL has over 60 ZIP codes assigned to it. Using
the "Provide Location Pick-list" setting, eMILER.com will
return all of them, listing every ZIP-coded location that could be
considered "Chicago, IL," with the most centrally located
ZIP code at the top.
To view all possible ZIP code and multiple name variations for a
location, use the Location Picklist setting in conjunction with the Spelling
Helper. The pick list will then include an alphabetical list of
all possible ZIP code and location name matches. Highlight the city
or ZIP code that you wish to select in order to run the route.
