Database
eMILER® is based on ALK Technologies’ proprietary computer representation of
the North American highway system. The distances contained in eMILER are derived
from official state highway maps, state DOT maps, county maps, local maps, and
information received from thousands of industry contacts. All Interstate, Federal
and all truck-specific State highways are included.
The eMILER® database is the most accurate North American database in the industry. The current North American Network contains:
- Over 756,000 miles of truck-specific highways... including over 350,000 miles of commercial truck restrictions
- 6,000 updated Truck Stops from Comdata's GeoFUEL network
- Over 580 State Weigh Stations and over 800 CAT Weigh Scale Locations
- Over 300,000 accessible locations
- All year 2006 five-digit U.S. ZIP Codes (over 41,000)
- Complete update of all 13'6" height, 80,000 lb. weight, 48' length and 53'/102" length/width restrictions
