The Basics of Running a Route
NOTE: You must use a comma between city and state when entering stops!
Example: new york, ny
To enter and run a route, complete the following steps within the Route Entry page:
- Choose a routing type:
Practical
Shortest
- Choose routing options:
National Network
53' Trailer
Toll Discouraged
Hub Routing
Borders Open
- Choose how distances will be calculated:
Miles or Kilometers
- (Optional) Choose a route optimization method:
Route Through All
Destination Fixed
- Enter origin and stop locations in any of the following formats:
City name and state abbreviation
ZIP code
Border crossing
Highway junction
Highway exit
Latitude/longitude coordinate
Truck stop

Choose how to display locations:
Use Default Location
Provide Location Pick List

Click the Run button.

Click the Delete All button
to clear all the "Stop" fields and enter and run a new route.

Click the Delete
button if you have checked any of the "Delete" boxes to the
left of the "Stop" fields in order to clear those stops.
